Quick Video Converter can help you perform various operations involving video. The program allows various output modes. Thus, it can be used as a format converter to re-encode clips to some of the most popular video formats. You can also use it to trim a segment from a video by setting the initial and end times. The Merge mode lets you combine several files while converting them to a given output format. Moreover, there is the Extract Audio mode, which as its names accurately explains, can convert video into audio files. Finally, the Extract Frames mode can help you take snapshots of your favorite scenes and save them in widely used image formats.
The application supports various source types. You can import regular video files in some of the most common formats either individually or as complete folders. It also supports adding video from discs, including DVDs and VCDs. Unfortunately, it does not support such sources as DVD folders and ISO image files.
This software has an intuitive tabbed interface designed for batch conversion. After adding the desired items to the conversion list, you can preview them to check their contents. After this, you can select the mode and pick a target format and you will be ready to start the operation. It is too bad that the list of available formats is rather limited. Probably to make this software operation simpler, the developers decided not to make output profiles customizable from the main screen. Instead, you need to use the corresponding menu command. Regrettably, the customized profiles cannot be saved for later use.
In general, Quick Video Converter is a nice application that successfully fulfils its purpose. However, I must tell you that, in my opinion, there are far better converters out there.
This application allows you to convert your video files from one into another.
